Benefits of apricot

You can keep apricot in fridge for almost a week.

You can boil the apricot in a pot with very little water. Or you can cook it with steam.
 
If you keep hard apricots inside a paper bag at room temperature, you will see them grow ripe within a couple of day. But don't wait for green colored apricots to grow ripe, they will not.
 
Warning

If you are going to use dried apricot, try to use the ones that contain sulfur, in other words sun dried apricot. Sulfur may cause allergy. Also it is rich in sodium. Sulfur is not used when growing dark colored dried apricot.
