Benefits of banana

Banana can be one of the first finger foods that you can give your baby. Its texture is so soft that your baby can chew it even using his palate. You can cut it into small sizes and place it in front of him. If he already has fore teeth, you can let him bite the banana you will hold in your hands. Or you may place it inside a fruit net and give it to him.   
 
Don't forget that each child has his own way. So adjust the size and softness of the foods you will give according to your baby and always  follow the golden safety rules regarding finger foods.

Excessive banana may cause  constipation. You can introduce banana to your baby very early, when he is 4 months old. However don't forget that recommended time to give banana is month 6.
