Keep in mind

When picking broccoli avoid picking the ones with small flowers on it.
You may steam it or sauté it with olive oil.
Boiling it will minimize the anti-carcinogenic effect. The best way is to steam it for 3-4 minutes.
When sautéing, make sure that broccoli is fully cooked. Don't give your baby half-cooked broccoli.
Another note on cooking broccoli: According to some researches, broccoli cooked in microwave loses its nutritional value.

You should not give your baby broccoli as one of his first foods. Because digesting broccoli may cause gas problems. And this may be difficult for you and your baby. You should introduce broccoli to your baby earliest at month 8. If your baby has digestion problem, wait for him to grow up a little more. Consult your doctor in this respect.
