When picking broccoli avoid picking the ones with small flowers on it.
You may steam it or sauté it with olive oil.
Boiling it will minimize the anti-carcinogenic effect. The best way is to steam it for 3-4 minutes.
When sautéing, make sure that broccoli is fully cooked. Don't give your baby half-cooked broccoli.
Another note on cooking broccoli: According to some researches, broccoli cooked in microwave loses its nutritional value.
