Are all fruits and vegetables suitable for your little baby? No matter how nutritious and healthy they are you cannot give just any fruit or vegetables to your baby. Introducing solids is a process and it takes time. There are two reasons for this: allergic reactions  your baby might develop; gas  and other similar problems as their digestive systems have not matured yet.

In order to make things easier for you, foods are divided into two categories:  stage one and stage two foods . For example apple and peach are stage 1 fruits and they are for babies that are 6 months old. Legume and egg yolk are stage 2 foods; the first one may cause gas problem and the latter one is an allergenic food. Start giving your baby eggs at the 7th month and legume by the end of 8th month. Do not give egg whites to your baby until he is 10-12 months old. You’ve got it… Choose what to feed your baby with according to the Stage 1/Stage 2 food categories and everything will be just fine.
